Privacy Policy

Hey there!

I’m the person behind AzureGovernanceGuard.com, which you can visit at https://www.azuregovernanceguard.com.

Comments:

When you leave comments on my site (and I appreciate when you do!), I collect the data you enter in the comments form. I also capture your IP address and browser user agent string to help me keep spam at bay. If you use Gravatar service, a scrambled string (or hash) created from your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service. You can check out Gravatar’s privacy policy here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once I’ve approved your comment, your profile picture is visible to everyone in relation to your comment.

Media:

If you’re uploading pictures to my site (I love visuals!), please avoid adding images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) as anyone can download and extract this data.

Cookies:

I use cookies on my site. If you leave a comment, you can choose to save your name, email address, and website in cookies. This simply means you won’t have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment – handy, right? These cookies stick around for a year.

When you log in, I will set a few cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will stick around for two weeks. If you log out, the login cookies will be removed.

Embedded Content from Other Websites:

My articles may include embedded content like videos, images, articles, etc. This content behaves just as if you’ve visited the other website itself.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with the embedded content.

Who I Share Your Data With:

If you ever need a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How Long I Retain Your Data:

If you leave a comment, I keep the comment and its metadata indefinitely. This helps me recognize and approve any follow-up comments without delay.

For users that register on my website, I store the personal information they provide in their user profile. Users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (although they can’t change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What Rights You Have Over Your Data:

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data I hold about you, including any data you’ve provided to me. You can also ask that I erase any personal data I hold about you. This doesn’t include any data I need to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where Your Data Is Sent:

Your comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. I’m all about keeping my site clean and enjoyable for everyone!

Thanks for reading! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.
